Proviant Audio
Proviant Audio is 17 year old Mathias Stubø who makes electronica with influences from 70s funk, soul and jazz. It can perhaps be compared to artists like Jazzanova, Mr. Scruff and Bonobo.
Proviant Audio was Ukas Urørt (Track/Artist of the Week) in 2006 as the youngest winner ever. He has also made the vignette music for Store Studio, music to an Iphone game which has been distributed in 65 countries, released the EP “Welcome Wilderness” and is soon current with the “High Five EP”.
Searching for a live band, Mathias met some guys studying music at Sandefjord college early in 2009. Since then the live band has steadily grown to now include 10 members: wind, percussion, Rhodes, live sampling, bass and drums make the live experience a powerful electronic expression.
The band played at Slottsfjell and Øya festivals in 2009 amongst others.
