I want to Help
February 07 2017
We rely on enthusiastic volunteers like you to be able to put on by:Larm every year. By volunteering at the event you will gain an insight into how the music industry works from the inside, meet interesting new people, discover new Nordic music and not least acquire valuable experience.
There are many different areas we need help from volunteers in, here’s a short overview:
This is the general public’s first encounter with the festival, swapping their ticket for a wristband. It’s a social hub, where you’ll meet friends old and new.
You will help with set up and take down of the event. You’ll need to put in a decent shift and maybe a bit of heavy lifting. It is important to bring a can-do attitude to proceedings, as these things always have a habit of taking longer than expected. This is a physical role and you will also need to be willing to work in the great outdoors. We might need people to this task before the festival, so please inform us if you are available to work a few days before the festival.
The tent is the beating heart of by:Larm, where we need a lot of people to work at our great big bar. That would be either pulling pints, helping keep things neat and tidy or directing the general public.
If you’ve had a look through this list and are not quite sure where you might fit, please fill out the form and let us know what kind of experience you have and what you want to get out of working for by:Larm and we’ll see what we can do.
