One of few producers I know in Norway who makes ghettotech/juke. done with finesse.. He played at Blå’s Gatefest earlier this year and did not disappoint. Music to dance to.

HC + Subaru (Bygdetrapen) (NO)
mpossible not to mention HC and Subaru who singlehandedly have put Norwegian-spoken rap on the map. Crazy productions, crazy flows, crazy bars delivered with dialects from the countryside. Can’t miss this.

August Selnes (NO)
A troubadour from Bergen who needs nothing more than himself and a guitar to entertain a crowd. A couple of weeks ago some friends and I had a beer with him at Klosterenga Cafe while he was waiting for his night bus to go back to Bergen after he had done a show in Moss or something like that. A regular saw he was carrying a guitar and challenged him to perform, which he did with no hesitation, captivating the whole bar and selling out the vinyls he had left.

Erika Sirola & Murrettumeri (FI)
I’m sure an organ concert in the Jakob Church with Erika and Murretumeri will be a good reset to start of your Saturday evening.

bambinodj (DE)
Ethereal dancehall from producer bambinodj, who delivers really interesting productions. He’s doing a hybrid set at Indigo on Saturday. I will be there.

Hekt (DK)
His latest record Forever has been written about in outlets like Pitchfork and The Guardian for a good reason. His take on EDM is playful, sugary and refreshing. He’s doing a live set at Blå on Friday.

The Twins (UK)
After Hekt we go straight into electroclash duo The Twins, a British-Pakistani group who’s been gaining a lot of buzz in the underground scene in London the past year.
