Four New Conference Posts, One Beta Launch
Now before christmas we are happy to announce five new sessions to our conference ‘Are We The Robots?’.
Join Tina Mermiri, Director of Research & Digital Analytics at Ticketmaster, as she takes you inside the mind of the fan during the ticket buying process with the session Know Your Fans! (EN). With the world turning mobile, how do fans find out about a gig? When do they buy their ticket and where do they purchase them? What happens when they can’t go and transfer their ticket to a friend, where does that data go?
Balansekust (The Art of Balance), the organisation dedicated to equality and fairness in the cultural industries, will be present at by:Larm for the fifth year in a row. This year we’ll be hosting an open networking meeting, a workshop on female participation and a panel on The Gender Gap in the musical economy.
How do the various streaming services actually work? What are the factors that can give a genuine boost to your streaming figures, followers and monthly listeners? What constitutes good planning in relation to releasing music, and what can you actually make plans for? Kristine Bjørnstad is Nordic Manager at INgrooves and will share some of her experiences and give tips which could be useful for artists, labels and anyone else who’s thinking about releasing any music with the MØST and GramArt presented session How-to for artists #1: Synlighet på strømmetjenestene (NO).
What’s going on in the Norwegian music business, which trends can we observe and what will be the big issues in Norwegian musical politics in 2019? Frokost med Musikkindustriens næringsråd will feature, among others, Kathrine Synnes (Music Norway), Larry Bringsjord (FONO), Jan Erik Haglund (NEMAA) and Cathrine Ruud (Musikkforleggerne).
Fantasy Sport is increasing its turnover in the sports industry by several billion dollars per year. Now comes the musical version: Fantasy Music Manager. In the game you can sign up real artists and build up a stable. How well the artists fare in reality will decide how you progress in the game. You can either play with or against your friends, classmates, colleagues and become the best fantasy manager in the whole country – or the world. Founder Simen Idsøe Eidsvåg will talk about the background to the Fantasy project and why he believes it will lead to increased engagement and revenues across the whole industry. The game will also beta launch at by:Larm.
