Funk, afrobeat og jazz, dette er grunnlaget for Il Mago Del Gelato, en sensuell og livlig blanding hvor smakene fra Middelhavet og ånden fra Via Padova (en karakteristisk gate i Milano) baner seg vei blant omfavnende horn, fengslende grooves og friske melodier.
Il Mago del gelato består av fire musikere som er fascinert av verden, og den sterke nysgjerrigheten, både musikalsk og kulturelt, er oppsummert i deres arbeid. De låner navnet fra en bar i Via Padova, hvor de og resten av nabolaget møtes for å drikke kaffe i en blanding av forskjellige språk og kulturer. Her observerer og blander guttene seg med andre, finner inspirasjon og hint til musikken sin.
De har erobret hjertene til publikum og bransjefolk, opptrådt på undergrunns-arrangementer i Milano og samlet flere datoer i Italia og utlandet. I april ble de, uten å ha gitt ut en eneste låt, inkludert i Rolling Stones Class 2023: listen over årets lovende ifølge redaktørene.

Il Mago del gelato are four musicians, fascinated by the world and its transversality, and this strong curiosity, both musical and cultural, is summed up in their work. They steal the name from a bar in Via Padova, where they and the rest of the neighbourhood meet to drink coffee in a mixture of different languages and cultures. From that bar, the guys observe, touch and mix with others, finding inspiration and cues for their music.
After conquering the hearts of the public and insiders, performing at the most underground events in Milan and after collecting several dates in Italy and abroad, in April, without even a single released, they were included in Rolling Stone's Class 2023: the list of the year's promises according to the editors.
