JØL ble dannet i 2021 som et industrial rock- og synthpunk-band, bestående av Aníbal, Óscar, Adro, Inés og Rubén.

Med utgivelsen av sitt andre album IXION (2023) fikk bandet omtale på den spanske nasjonale radiokanalen Radio 3, i tillegg til å bli valgt ut til Top 15 Autoplacer 2023.

Takket være sitt mørke, men likevel suggestive sceneshow og eksplosive liveopptredener har JØL etablert seg i Madrids lokale musikkscene, og de har flere ganger spilt for fulle hus.

I starten av 2025 vant bandet Madcool Talent Contest – i konkurranse med over 1000 andre band – og ble valgt ut til å spille på Waves Vienna Festival i Spanish Wave-showcasen. Bandet signerte også med Rebel Sound Booking, under hvilket deres nyeste EP VICIOS MODERNOS ble gitt ut. Den 11. juli spiller bandet på 2025-utgaven av Madcool Festival.

JØL is born in 2021 as an industrial rock and synthpunk band, formed by Aníbal, Óscar, Adro, Inés and Rubén. With the release of their second album IXION (2023) the band gets to be featured on the Spanish national radio program Radio 3 as well as selected for the Top 15 Autoplacer 2023.

Thanks to their dark yet suggestive staging and incendiary performance JØL has claimed their place in Madrid’s local scene, selling out several times along their career.

At the start of 2025 the band wins from among other 1000 bands the Madcool Talent Contest and is selected to play at Waves Vienna Festival in the Spanish Wave showcase. The band also signs to Rebel Sound Booking, under which their latest EP VICIOS MODERNOS is released. On July 11th the band plays in the 2025 edition of Madcool Festival.
