by:Larm and Ladies Music Pub invite you to an open conversation between artist TYSON (co-founder of LMP), British-Rwandan sound artist Auclair, Norwegian artist Sei Selina and British singer George Riley. In this panel, the artists talk in depth about their personal processes of music making, self expression, finding one’s own sound, and how to navigate creative relationships.
Raised in London and Stockholm, TYSON’s music draws from her unusual upbringing on the road, the result a celestial, interplanetary R&B. This year, TYSON was the winner of the Breakthrough Act at Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide Awards.
Auclair is a British-Rwandan artist who has also worked on sound art projects and multi arts collaborations such as a live reworking and scoring of Afro-Brazilian classic ‘Black Orpheus’ with Charlie Dark, Beck’s “Song Reader Live”, and The Sensory Score.
Bergen-based artist Sei Selina creates a melting pot of soul, pop-rock, and art, inspired by African rhythms, modern synths, and storytelling. She spent the summer of 2022 touring as the support for Aurora, and has received acclaim from Clash Magazine and Vogue Scandinavia Music.
George Riley is a singer from Shepherd’s Bush, West London. Fusing diverse sounds with her own unmistakable tone, she has woven subtle narratives from underrepresented perspectives throughout her output; steadily building an essential discography with a multitude of essential messages.
