Nedja vokste opp i et hjem omgitt av sjelfull R&B, italiensk opera og arabisk folkemusikk på en og samme kassett. Som en konsekvens av dette, er lydbildet lekent, stilsikkert og groovy, med hint til artister som Erykah Badu, The Neptunees, Missy Elliot, Bon Iver og Amy Winehouse.

Nedja var tidligere vokalist i det norske indiepop-bandet Pikekyss, som spilte over 200 konserter i løpet av tre år på blant annet Slottsfjell og Blå. Etter at hun gikk solo, har hun dratt til Seoul og samarbeidet med den koreanske k-pop-stjerna Dean og lagd musikk med den Soulection-affilierte artisten Jay Prince fra London. Nedja er nå i gang med debut-EPen sin, som utgis i samarbeid med det renommerte plateselskapet Mutual Intentions.

Nedja grew up in a household where one would find soulful R&B, Italian opera and Arabic folk music all on the same cassette. Consequently, her sound is playful, sassy and groovy and she draws inspiration from artists she grew up listening to, like Erykah Badu, The Neptunes, Missy Elliot, Bon Iver and Amy Winehouse.

Nedja was previously the lead vocalist in the Norwegian indie pop band Pikekyss, performing over 200 concerts across three years, at places like Slottsfjell and Blå. After going solo, she had the pleasure to be in Seoul for a studio session with South Korean K-pop/R&B star Dean in 2019. In 2020, she made music with London-based hip hop artist and Soulection affiliate Jay Prince. Nedja is now very excited to be working on her debut EP with Oslo-based label and collective Mutual Intentions.
