Opening Keynote: Elijah

We are proud to present Elijah as this year’s Opening Keynote speaker at by:Larm. Elijah cut his teeth as a globe-trotting DJ in the grime scene of the 2010s, working with the scene’s top talent including Kano, Skepta, JME, D Double E & Footsie and P Money. At the same time, he put on over 100 club nights in the UK and built the Butterz label (2010-2022) from scratch.

Lately, Elijah has become famous for his regular notes on creativity and sustainable artistic practice on his Instagram account @eli1ah, known as the “Yellow Squares”. His no-bullshit approach has earned him a dedicated following, and consequently he’s become a much sought-after guest lecturer and consultant.

During his Opening Keynote at by:Larm, Elijah will elaborate on his Yellow Squares, sharing his take on how to make an impact as an artist, with an emphasis on his most shared phrase “Close The App, Make The Thing.”
