About

At by:Larm Thursday, Oslo World presents the stage at Blå with some favorites from this year's program. Sami metal, pop, electronics, 90s indie, R&B and festive reggaeton - an eclectic mix, a bit like you would expect from a classic Oslo World program. After the concerts, there will be a club night with festival goers DJDID, DJ Bacalao and DJ Melange (Zee).

BACALAO from Colombia mixes indie disco beats with alternative African rhythms from soukous, afrobeat and champeta, all part of the country's African heritage. He plays cumbia, classic salsa and Latin jazz, and mixes sounds from Haiti, Brazilian funk and Africa into DJ sets that move on both sides of the Atlantic.

Zineb Bensouda (DJ Melange) is influenced by rhythms and ideas from around the globe, and as an artist she has given us brilliant concert experiences, including at Bylarm in 2020. In the record company Mutual Intentions she has found like-minded people, musicians and producers who stretch towards weightless jazz landscapes, diving in to new and old soul, and with a firm grip on Oslo's audience.

Dana Jdid (DJDID) was born in Abu Dhabi and grew up in a Syrian home in Oslo. She has played all over the city, been a favorite DJ for Skeiv Verden and played at a number of Pride and Salam Norway events. She is also a big Oslo World favorite and has played at the festival in various constellations countless times. There is always a party with DJDID behind the levers.
