Sure, she’s worked with the likes of A$AP Rocky and Dean Blunt, but POiSON ANNA is a force of nature to behold in hre own right – one of the most singular and uncompromising British voices to emerge as of late.

The single and music video «F_A_i_N_T» represented a new start for POiSON ANNA, together with the rest of her debut mixtape E_X_C_E_L_S_i_A, out via NTS in June 2021. The music is harsh, breakbeat-driven and, according to Anna, a reaction towards all of societies’ mishaps, from the abuse of power to the emergence of fake news. The mixtape was produced alongside regular collaborator Mobbs, and mixed by Jake Gordon (J Hus, Skepta, Burna Boy) and credible sources like BBC Music’s Mary Anne Hobbs have already taken note of POiSON ANNA’s poise and personality. She was originally scheduled to perform at by:Larm 2021, but in 2022 she is back, stronger than ever!

Låta og musikkvideoen «F_A_i_N_T» markerer en ny start for POiSON ANNA, sammen med resten av debut-mikstapen E_X_C_E_L_S_i_A, ute gjennom NTS i juni 2021. Musikken er en hard, breakbeat-drevet reaksjon mot samfunnspatologier som løper løpsk, som falske nyheter og maktmisbruk. Mikstapen er lagd i samarbeid med Mobbs og mikset av Jake Gordon (J Hus, Skepta, Burna Boy), og POiSON ANNAs selvsikre stil har allerede blitt lagt merke til av kredible kilder som Mary Anne Hobbs (BBC Music). POiSON ANNA måtte dessverre utsette 2021-konserten på by:Larm, men i 2022 er hun tilbake, bedre enn noensinne!
