Stéphanie Turcotte kommer fra Montréal, Québec, men bosatte seg på Senja i 2018. Samtidig begynte hun å lage musikk inspirert av omgivelsene sine. I fjor vant hun en konkurranse om å spille på Buktafestivalen i Tromsø, og i skrivende stund er hun Månedens Urørt hos NRK P3.
Hun har foreløpig gitt ut to låter og det skal være en EP på vei. Dette er svevende indiemusikk av typen som er velegnet til å få tiden til å stille, om enn bare for et øyeblikk.

Stéphanie Turcotte is originally from Montréal, Québec, but settled on the island of Senja in 2018. It was there she began creating music inspired by her surroundings. Last year, she won a competition to perform at Buktafestivalen in Tromsø, and at the time of writing, she is NRK P3’s “Månedens Urørt”.
So far, she has released two singles, with an EP on the way. Her music is dreamy indie — the kind that makes time stand still, if only for a moment.
