Sync Masterclass: The Thoughts Behind Sound and Vision

In this panel we talk about the process behind choosing the right music to create those great film and TV moments we all love.

We have invited three of the most exciting music supervisors to share their thoughts behind some of their recent music placements in film and series productions. What is the feeling they were looking for, how did they find the music, why does it work and how important is it to find the right song to tell the story?

Ciara, Angela and Uli have supervised exciting and acclaimed projects like I May Destroy You, Sex Education, End of the F***ing World, After Life, Hacks, Val, Bas Therapy, The Brothers Sun, Narcissus & Goldmund and The Magic Flute. There are undeniably great music moments within this list and in this panel we will get the chance to learn about the process straight from the source.

The panel's moderator, Mathias, has been working in the American music industry for several years with clients who have hits with, for example, Justin Bieber and who have written music for Disney movies and tv-series. He works with both pitching of songs and whitelisting.
