One last present to unwrap before the holidays

Norwegian pioneer Cashmere Cat returns, along with 10 upcoming pathfinders of sound
We thought we were done dropping music for by:Larm 2020 until, well, 2020. But shoot, why wait with giving you 11 new artists to spice up your holiday mix? And that’s including none other than the first headliner for this year’s biggest by:Larm stage.
CASHMERE CAT (NO): The cat’s out of the bag! Pathfinder Cashmere Cat is one of Norway’s biggest artists ever. Eleven years after his first by:Larm gig, he is returning in 2020 to play by:Larm’s largest stage, Hyundai Sentrum Scene February 28.
EMIL STABIL (DK): Fifty million streams, eight gold and platinum records. Danish Emil Stabil is at the forefront of the country’s growing hip hop scene.
GANGER (DK): One of Denmark’s latest hypes, and it’s definitely real. Stories from the fishing town Hanstholm crossed with samples of Charles Bukowski and Jungle Jack. Plus dark, dark, ambitious sound.
JELASSI (SE): With guest appearances for Silvana Imam and Cherrie, Jelassi’s packed quite a punch in Sweden already, and in 2020 she’s aspiring to be one of the coming greats in Swedish rap.
KÅRP (SE): Kårp’s alluring music has been dubbed «death disco», with comparisons drawn to The Knife, Lykke Li and Grimes.
NEA (SE): As a songwriter, Linnea «Nea» Södahl has contributed to Zara Larssons «Lush Life» and a song portfolio spanning a billion streams. Now, the South African-Swedish singer is taking a quantum leap on her own terms.
NERVOSA (BR): Furious, riff-o-rama thrash metal straight from one of the genre’s native territories, Brazil.
REBECCA LOU (DK): «Moped rock» is this Copenhagen trio’s preferred term, and it’s quite accurate, considering their issue of sugar sweet, grooving punk rock.
SPRING & I (DK): Melodic and harmonic elements meet through MIDI-controllers, pads and a confidence constructed through almost 100 concerts. A Copenhagen duo to watch!
THIS GIFT IS A CURSE (SE): Black metal, hardcore, sludge and similar shades of ugliness concocted together to an infernal wall of sound.
VIKING_DEATH_TRAP.EXE (NO): BDSM-inspired trap in Norway’s singular Molde dialect? It grabbed our attention, and trust us – it’ll command yours too.
